Two things, three titles

Although forever unknown

I wouldn’t be all that surprised
if the guy who invented chess
had a horse with ADHD
who was very easily distracted
& would make really abrupt ninety degree turns
every third step or so.

“No, Officer

I don’t have a handicap placard per say,
but I did get these jeans at a discount for being irregular,
and they fit perfectly,

So… I’m not paying this ticket.”

  1. Awesome as always. And since you’ve got me thinking about it, I’m beginning to suspect that bishops were drunk and stumbling winos who couldn’t walk in straight lines.

  2. I haven’t played chess in a while (many years to be exact), but some interesting things happened in the last few days that got me thinking how much life CAN BE like a game of chess: strategic moves will definitely help you play well but won’t necessarily make you win the game. Funny reading your post and seeing it too has touched on the topic of chess! I find your thought process hilariously refreshing and look forward to each one with eager anticipation. Thanks for sharing …

  3. Love this.

Perhaps out of the corner of his eye he sees demented clerics galloping toward him and seemingly stationary objects (such as castles) slide back and forth with astonishing speed.

    And he has mommy issues.

  4. I haven’t had this much fun since I discovered Shel Silverstein many years ago and Ogden Nash even further back. When I read your work, I immediately start looking for someone to share it with.

  5. 2 things that I thought were impossible today – Smiling, and/or laughing, actually happened. All thanks to these 2 very witty thoughts of yours (and, thank you for stopping by and liking one of my posts!) Looking forward to following your blog 🙂
