When someone is rude or lashes out at you
remember that it’s almost never truly about you.
It is about the circumstances, trails and challenges
that particular individual inherited
through the conditioned fear responses of their parents and culture.
But that’s a little wordy
so alternatively
just imagine the human dildos of this world
as snowmen
who through no real fault of their own,
happen to dislike the smell of carrots.
To me, the saddest thing in the world
would be a hungry, yet hopeful vulture
optimistically flying into a zombie wasteland.

I think if I came across a vegan zombie
a part of me would consider self sacrifice
just to sabotage the principles of the undead.
Who am I kidding?
Of course I would still
bludgeon their brains with a stick
just like the rest,
even if it’s also a zombie…

“chimps are our closest living relatives”
that’s really only true of orphans.
If I could have any wish
I would wish to witness the moon landing
as the first two men took to the lunar surface.
And if I could have a second wish
I would wish that they would then hunt each other
for my amusement and hand in marriage.
