empathy

When someone is rude or lashes out at you
remember that it’s almost never truly about you.
It is about the circumstances, trails and challenges
that particular individual inherited
through the conditioned fear responses of their parents and culture.

But that’s a little wordy
so alternatively
just imagine the human dildos of this world
as snowmen
who through no real fault of their own,
happen to dislike the smell of carrots.
